This is the first time I have eaten at this restaurant and I can truly say that I will be back. We were greeted and shown to our table and were given time to look at the menu and order. The food and drink selection was good and the prices were reasonable. I only scored 4 out of 5 for atmosphere as it was a Tuesday night and there was only one other table occupied. Really clean, really nice food and lovely staff, what more could you ask for. See you again ...

WRONG FOOD DELIVERED, MISSING ITEMS, the food we did receive was cold and tasteless. For £30.00 I would have expected better. Contacted restaurant and was told they would send the missing items but could take an hour. Considering we had waited an hour and a half for the first delivery this was not satisfactory.

What an amazing find! Such a great restaurant with a nice atmosphere, wonderful friendly staff and a brilliant menu. They cater for vegan/plant based diets and gluten intolerances too. The menu has a few vegan option including biryani, saag bhaji and a chickpea and spinach curry. Highly recommend if you’re a vegan. The food is so damn tasty!

DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE! IT IS VILE, WOULD’NT EVEN FEED TO MY DOG!!!
If I could rate -0 I would. Haven’t seen anybody in there for a good while due to the disgusting food and service. I was charged double the price to what was on the menu. The Samoa’s were like veg and meat in a Victoria sponge. Meat was rotten. We was given mocktails when we ordered cocktails. The only good thing was the chutney tray which we told them we didn’t want. GOT NOTHING BUT ABUSE JUST FOR GOING IN THERE! £60 for 2 Curry sauces and 2 rices and 2 samosas which were the worst we’ve ever tried. WE’VE HAD BETTER IN THE YE OLD TOWN OF BLACKPOOL AND WAS HALF PRICE. Don’t even want to walk past again as the staff were so aggressive. If you want the pictures comment.

If could rate zero, I would. No wonder no one was in that restaurant. Poor service. Chicken smelt like it was rotten. Over charge - given me items I hadn’t ordered. Don’t bring items I didn’t ask for in future!

This was our most favourite Indian Restaurant, but recently the service has gone downhill, the last time we visited we were told we couldn't enter at 9-30pm because they shut at 10pm, last night we booked a table for 9pm and no sooner had we sat down we was told they needed our order quickly, we spent almost £100 between four of us the food was lovely but we felt extremely rushed which spoilt our experience.

We visit here regularly, always fantastic food and service. Best curry in Sandbach! We particularly enjoy the cheesy garlic naan. Jay is always very welcoming and accommodating. We can’t recommend Ganges highly enough, we love it!

Despite being a regular customer every weekend I was shocked by the way I was spoken to by the duty manager.apparantly it was my fault I ordered a takeaway when all the staff were taking a break following fasting.
I was told I should have had a snack!!! And should give them thought and consideration!!
Despite ordering at just gone 7pm my order arrived at 9.25,cold and clearly it had been stood for a while.
I was continually fobbed off with delivery times and excuses via the app then spoken to rudely by the duty manager...
Shocking service and won't be returning with any future orders

As a frequenter of restaurants, I have to say this place is my absolute favourite. The food is nothing short of exceptional. I recommend the Bombay chips, Chingri ballachong & the fried paneer but there is nothing bad on the menu (believe me, I’ve tried it all). The staff and the service is amazing, the interior decor has a sophisticated yet homely feel, The Ganges is an absolute must try if you are in and around the Sandbach area.

We visited here for a family party last night and had such a lovely meal. Everyone who works here was so kind to us and attentive, you’d never have known the restaurant was full with the service we got. The curry was delicious and we didn’t wait long as a big group. I’ll definitely be coming here again. Really impressed, thank you for a lovely night.

Would give it lower if I could, ordered food at 6 message to say would be with us by 7.30, after a phone call finally arrived at 8.20. Was it worth the wait no food ice cold and awful never using again steer clear people.

Food is nice, but the portion size for the price is abysmal. We spent £40 and neither of us are full. Call us spoilt, but £20 in manchester feeds 2 with food left over. There was barely half a chicken breast (4/5pieces) in a full curry! Shocking. Bet these guys live in an absolute mansion. Feeling ripped off. Food was tasty. But no better than curry mile. I can't see any reason not to go there next time.
